Join us for our next Conversation in the City!
Loneliness and social isolation are increasingly recognised as significant public health challenges, particularly as we age. At the same time, shared cultural experiences and engagement in the arts can help counter these challenges—inviting connection, meaning, curiosity and joy.
In this uplifting session, two South Australian creatives—arts leader Trish Hansen and performer Emma Knights—explore how the arts can enrich our lives, support wellbeing and strengthen communities as we age.
The session will also feature a live music component, with community singers from Sing Australia Glenelg and Warradale offering an interactive demonstration of how collective creativity can foster connection and belonging.
Grounded in research, local examples and lived experience, this event invites older South Australians to reimagine arts and culture not only as entertainment, but as a vital part of living a full, connected and enriched life.
Morning tea will be provided.
