Promote your club, group or association
Here are some ideas to help you promote your club and attract new members:
- Media - Find an interesting story and contact local media - eg radio, magazines and newspapers (i.e., Weekend Plus, The Senior and Fifty+SA) and online news sites
- Social media - Use social media to share your news, such as Facebook
- Word of mouth - Talk about your group to friends, neighbours and family
- Banners/posters - Use Library, Community Centre and Shopping Centre noticeboards
- Newsletters - Ask local Councils to include an article in their newsletters
- Flyers - Print flyers and place them into letterboxes
- Email - Email your members and supporters.
