This October, we're encouraged to reflect and discover the meaning of ageing well with South Australia's Week of Ageing Well.
Last year, over 73 Week of Ageing Well activities were held across South Australia including concerts, discussions, morning teas, art, health and fitness activities, and intergenerational events. COTA SA is proud to kick the week off with Ageing well in public (and private) life, our free, flagship, intergenerational event in celebration of the UN International Day of Older Persons (IDOP).
While Office for Ageing Well will not be collecting event registrations this year, organisations and community members can still host events within their communities. You can also get involved by:
- Talking with your friends, family, colleagues, or community members to learn what ageing well means to them - and sharing what it means to you
- Take a short Week of Ageing Well survey and contribute to the statewide understanding of ageing well.
- Download the flyer (with a QR code to the survey) to display in your organisation or share with your friends and family
Survey responses will contribute to a statewide understanding of ageing well and will inform the next state ageing well plan.
