Out and About!

Our Strength for Life team, both staff and volunteers, are a very busy group! This week they've been out and about delivering presentations and workshops including:

  • Delivering a Falls Prevention Seminar at WEA Adelaide City
  • Delivering a Falls Management Presentation at City of West Torrens
  • Attending the Navigating Aged Care Expo in Loxton
  • Delivering a Strength for Life Presentation at Burton Community Hub (see below)

If you're part of a community group that would benefit from a Strength for Life presentation we have Ambassadors ready to come and talk all things Strength for Life. Likewise our Community Connect events team are always pleased to be invited to have a stall at community events and expos. To organise a speaker or invite our event team, call COTA SA reception on 08 8232 0422 or email cotasa@cotasa.org.au.

If you'd like to attend a Falls Prevention Seminar or Better Balance program at WEA, visit our Ongoing Learning page, we're pleased to be able to include these in the courses on offer through our partnership with WEA Adult Learning and Skills SA.

Burton Community Hub

Strength for Life's Clara was delighted to meet members of Burton Community Hub and share information about Strength for Life with them.

There was much interest in the program with lots of questions and reflections about healthy ageing and keeping active and connected.
