Ageing isn't a problem to solve, it's a legacy to build
Natasha Stott Despoja AO
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for our International Day of Older Persons celebration. We were honoured to welcome keynote speaker Natasha Stott Despoja AO, who delivered a thoughtful and inspiring address on the theme: "Ageing Well in Public (and Private) Life."
To kick off the event, we introduced an icebreaker with the question:
“What do you celebrate about ageing?”
Some of the most powerful responses were around freedom and choice: the freedom to choose to do what brings you joy, and just as importantly, the freedom not to do what doesn’t.
We'll have more insights from the event in the coming weeks but today we're absolutely delighted to share some photos from the day.
With thanks also to our proud sponsors - this event couldn't happen without them!
