Rainbow rights are human rights, and the new Rainbow Rights Toolkit identifies how older LGBTI+ community members can understand and action their rights.
This month we were pleased to hold our Rainbow Rights in Action Forum to launch this new Toolkit which aims to empower LGBTI+ communities, in all their diversity, to assert and safeguard their rights over a lifetime.
A big thankyou to everyone who joined us on 20 June for the forum, it was a great event and we were pleased that the new toolkit was so well-received.
Thank you to the Nat Cook MP, Minister for Human Services and Minister for Seniors and Ageing Well who joined us to launch the toolkit and to Polly Sumner Dodd for her thought provoking Welcome to Country.
The event wouldn't have been what it was without our fantastic emcee, Julie, all our speakers and panelists, and, of course the many attendees who shared their warmth, feedback, questions and personal experiences.
You can find the Toolkit here.
