Baby Boomer Sexuality: Exploring the Wants, Needs and Available Options for Partnered Individuals and Couples in Australian Residential Aged Care
Alison Rahn is a PhD candidate at the University of New England, Armidale in the School of Behavioural, Cognitive and Social Sciences. She would like people to participate in an anonymous online survey. The questionnaire will take between 20 and 45 minutes to complete and your participation is completely anonymous. You will not be asked your name or any identifying details to ensure that the answers you provide remain confidential.
The study seeks to identify the sexual and intimacy needs of couples born 1946-1965 (Baby Boomers) in the event that they become consumers of residential aged care and to identify potential conflicts between their wishes and the current delivery of aged care.
At completion of her thesis, it is Alison's intention to use this research to offer recommendations in her publication outputs towards ‘best practice' for couples in aged care.
