Hospital car park hike to fuel isolation among older South Australians
The Government’s plan to increase carparking fees at the Royal Adelaide Hospitalfor visitors and staff by 20 per cent from next year will be an unwelcome blow to many older South Australians already struggling to make ends meet.
COTA SA Chief Executive Jane Mussared says while there is a commitment to discounted carparking rates for relatives of long stay patients, the increased fees for those requiring casual car parking is still of concern.
