Moving Right Along nominated as a finalist

The Moving Right Along program, developed by the Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure, and delivered by COTA SA has been nominated as a finalist in the Community Achievement Awards for South Australia

COTA SA was nominated for the Hunt & Hunt Lawyers - Community Road Safety Award.

The winner will be announced at a Gala dinner on the 21st of November 2015.

COTA SA delivers a series of workshops as part of the Moving Right Along initiative in the Towards Zero Together Road Safety Action Plan 2013-2016. Aimed at older drivers, COTA SA developed a suite of interactive workshops and information sheets. The focus is about maintaining fitness to drive, legal responsibilities, planning for driving less or retiring from driving, and active travel options. Volunteers are trained to facilitate the workshops in metropolitan and targeted rural locations. 136 Moving Right Along workshops have been conducted in the last year with 1680 participants attending.

Congratulations to all those involved with the program.
