Rainbow Hub Writing Group

Have you been meaning to write some Rainbow Memories for our community? A journal for yourself? Fiction? History? Something for publication? Something for the fun of it? Just want to try your hand at writing and see what happens?

Why not join us at this meeting to start things off. At the meeting we'll sort out the best times and places to meet and we'll talk about what sort of structure would be useful and how to develop peer support to write what we want.

When: Saturday 9 October 2021
Time: 1-3pm
Where:
  Diverse-City, 116 Grote St, Adelaide SA 5000
Bookings Essential:
Email events@cotasa.org.au or call 08 8232 0422. Please ring 08 8232 0422 ASAP if you need to cancel so others may attend.

Why is the Rainbow Hub doing this? Because people have asked for it; because we know that members of our community have things to share and/or things to write about for themselves; because writing is often a scary thing for people so it's great to have peer support; because there's nothing like a structure to make us stop avoiding writing.

We will provide coffees and afternoon tea and will facilitate the first meeting. If you have a favourite pen and/or paper then bring them; we will have pens and paper for your use; if you have a laptop and prefer to use please bring it charged.

For catering and Covid requirements we need you to book in and to let us know if you can't come.

If anyone wants to have lunch before the meeting, Diverse-City will be open. Please phone 08 7076 9211 to sort out your order.

More is on our website under Rainbow Memories Matter.
