COTA Seniors Voice protects and promotes the wellbeing of older people
COTA Seniors Voice is South Australia’s peak seniors’ organisation. Our membership encompasses around 20,000 individual members and over 250 senior’s organisations with a combined membership of mor

e than 60,000. In addition we have 80 associate members including aged care providers, local government bodies, health units and other service and educational institutions.
COTA Seniors Voice was incorporated in 1957, during which time we’ve developed numerous programs and worked extensively in the area of policy development. Additionally, over the last 50 years COTA Seniors Voice has been involved in establishing a wide range of aged sector organisations.
Key roles:
- Policy and advocacy - centrally engaged in every major aged related State Government policy over the last 20 years
- Representation - seniors’ interests are represented by COTA Seniors Voice in a wide range of State and Commonwealth government forums, non- government bodies, consumer advisory groups, research bodies
- Programs and services - COTA Seniors Voice develops and delivers a range of services and programs delivered both in SA and interstate
- Benefits - COTA Seniors Voice offers great savings and benefits available exclusively to members
COTA Seniors Voice continues to look forward to the challenges and opportunities presented in the future by the ageing South Australian population. Work will continue to ensure that the next 50 years are as productive as the last 50.
