The Seniors Peer Education Centre provides informative and interactive sessions to groups throughout South Australia on a variety of health and wellbeing issues affecting people over 50.
About Peer Education
Peer Education is the process of people who share common ground teaching and learning from one another. COTA Seniors Voice Seniors Peer Education Centre trains older people to talk to other older people about healthy ageing issues.
About the Sessions
- Sessions are free of charge
- Sessions are run by fully trained volunteer Peer Educators
- Most sessions are available throughout South Australia
- Sessions have a practical focus including discussion of simple strategies to deal with the issues raised
- Sessions are designed to be interactive – attendees are encouraged to share their own ideas and experiences

In addition to offering Peer Education sessions throughout South Australia, COTA Seniors Voice is funded to coordinate the delivery of beyond maturityblues and Quality Use of Medicines sessions nationally.
